About the Conference
Over the 3 days of Oct.30 - Nov.1, 2019, the PSS2019 attracted 328 procurement executives from across Asia and around the world, a considerable increase on attendance records of PSS in past years. Participants are from 195 world-class companies, such as Johnson & Johnson, Huawei, JD.com, Starbucks, Siemens, Cummins, etc.
The theme for this year’s conference was “Growing in the Age of Risk and Leading with Digital Transformation”. 36 high-level speakers delivered presentations on topics of the strategic role of procurement, cost reduction and optimization, global strategic sourcing, as well as digital procurement tools and applications, such as AI, big data, etc. The conference program addressed future procurement trends, challenges, strategies and the road map of digital transformation.
PSS2019 comprised 8 key sessions. Each session related to several hot procurement topics, with 3-4 speakers per session. During the 3 days, there’re also many activities which excited great interest, including 2 panel discussions, 1 roundtable discussion, cocktail dinner, PSS Special Market Tour, procurement workbook release and one on one meeting.
